thudcoc

Time is running out. The Continuum of Care (CoC)—the backbone of supportive housing and the nation’s homelessness response system—is in serious jeopardy. As Congress enters the final stages of THUD negotiations before the Continuing Resolution expires at the end of the month, protecting CoC contract renewals must be an urgent priority.

Contracts are already expiring (2,479 households will fall out of contract across New York State between January and March), people are at risk of losing their homes, and communities are facing immediate disruption.

Only a congressional fix can stop the harm, stabilize renewals, and prevent thousands of people from being pushed back into homelessness.
